Bulletin Launching

The APUCEN Bulletin is Officially Launched

Penang, September 22, 2014. The APUCEN Bulletin was officially launched during the Second APUCEN Summit by the Deputy Education Minister of Malaysia, the Honourable Mr. Kamalanathan Pancanathan. The Bulletin was initiated during the Regional Council Meeting to create a platform for information sharing as well as a forum for sharing of views and ideas on University-Community Engagement in the Asia Pacific region. Short articles on good practices in university-community engagement, volunteerism, community-based research, service learning, and other relevant topics that address issues of international interest and concern are covered in the Bulletin. Editors are appointed from member institutions from different countries to ensure that the Bulletin features regional news and development of university-community engagement. APUCEN Bulletin is published every six months in June and December. The first issue of the APUCEN Bulletin was published in December 2013 and the second issue was in June 2014.
